This study employs high-throughput transcriptome profiling to unravel the molecular changes underlying diapause and non-diapause states in Chilo partellus. RNA-Seq analysis was performed on diapause-induced and actively developing larvae to identify differentially expressed genes associated with metabolic suppression, hormone signaling, stress response, and developmental regulation. The de novo assembly provides comprehensive insights into key pathways controlling diapause initiation and maintenance. Comparative expression patterns highlight candidate genes involved in environmental sensing and adaptive physiological adjustments. This dataset serves as a valuable genomic resource for understanding diapause biology and developing targeted pest management strategies for C. partellus.
