Role of alternative polyadenylation in muscle development remains largely undetermined. Our WTTS-seq approach to capture 3'-end of RNAs clearly revealed alternaitve polyadenylation events responsible for reduced muscle mass in AMPK α1, but increased muscle mass in AMPK α2 knockout mice. Overall design: Total RNA samples obtained from muscle tissue of knockout (KO) mice and wild-type (WT) mice were used to construct WTTS-seq libraries. Eight WTTS-seq libraries including two AMPKα1 KO mice, two AMPK α2 KO mice, two AMPKα1 WT mice and two AMPK α2 WT mice were involved in this submission.
