Historical shorelines and imagery for Indiana's Lake Michigan coast

<p>The purpose of this project is to collect and disseminate historical shoreline imagery for the Lake Michigan Indiana coastline, and to digitize and track the shoreline position as it has evolved over time.  This data is useful in order to quantify and understand historical shoreline changes in relation to changing water levels, wave conditions, and shoreline changes.  Images have been acquired from various databases and, when needed, georeferenced.  For each image, shorelines (not structures) were tracked in ArcGIS and then exported to a variety of formats.  </p>
