资源简介:
Citrus leafminer (Phyllocnistis citrella Stainton) is a widely distributed pest associated with diseases of citrus, especially for young trees. The gut endosymbionts regulate the behavior of pests, which could provide insights into their control. Here, we generated the gut endosymbiont compositions of P. citrella in citrus orchards across China. The dataset comprised average 50,430 high-quality reads for bacterial 16S rRNA V3-V4 regions for gut endosymbionts of 36 P. citrella individuals. Taxonomic analysis revealed a total of 372 bacterial genera with most of them belonged to the Proteobacteria phylum and Undibacterium as the most abundant one. In addition, we gave a glance of variations in the gut endosymbionts of P. citrella among different geographic regions in China. This dataset provides the first evidence for gut endosymbiont of P. citrella and supports the further study of pest management in citrus orchards.
