Cascade Project at North Temperate Lakes LTER Core Data Carbon 1984 - 2016

Data on dissolved organic and inorganic carbon, particulate organic matter, partial pressure of CO2 and absorbance at 440nm. Samples were collected with a Van Dorn sampler. Organic carbon and absorbance samples were collected from the epilimnion, metalimnion, and hypolimnion. Inorganic samples were collected at depths corresponding to 100%, 50%, 25%, 10%, 5%, and 1% of surface irradiance, as well as one sample from the hypolimnion. Samples for the partial pressure of CO2 were collected from two meters above the lake surface (air) and just below the lake surface (water). Sampling frequency: varies; number of sites: 14本数据集包含溶解态有机碳、溶解态无机碳、颗粒态有机物、二氧化碳分压(partial pressure of CO2)以及440nm处吸光度的相关数据。样品通过范多恩采水器(Van Dorn sampler)采集。其中，有机碳与吸光度样品分别采集自湖上层(epilimnion)、斜温层(metalimnion)与湖下层(hypolimnion)；无机碳样品的采集深度对应表层辐照度的100%、50%、25%、10%、5%及1%处，同时额外采集1件湖下层样品。二氧化碳分压样品分别采集自湖面上方2米处（空气）及湖水表层下方（水体）。采样频率：不固定；采样点位数量：14个。
