Upper-Body Post-Activation Performance Enhancement in MMA Athletes: Load-Dependent Effects Across Multiple Explosive Tasks
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the study titled "Upper-Body Post-Activation Performance Enhancement in MMA Athletes: Load-Dependent Effects Across Multiple Explosive Tasks." It includes raw and processed performance data, neuromuscular measurements, three primary result figures, and a mechanistic model (Figure 4) illustrating the load-dependent effects of conditioning activity on explosive upper-body outputs. Data were collected during an intervention-based trial with elite MMA athletes and include peak power, rate of power development (RPD), and medicine ball throw (MBT) outcomes across varying load intensities (50%, 65%, and 80% 1RM). The dataset further distinguishes between intermediate and advanced training status groups, supporting individualized analysis and model validation. This repository is intended for replication, secondary analysis, and practical translation, such as: designing load-specific warm-up protocols, programming explosive strength periodization, and developing sport-specific PAPE strategies. All materials are openly available in accordance with FAIR data principles and are licensed under CC-BY 4.0 to promote reuse and transparency in sport science.
