Genetic study of disease resistance trait in Cynoglossus semilaevis

Infectious disease is the main cause of death in fish aquaculture, which have resulted in huge economic loss worldwide. The Chinese tongue sole, C. semilaevis is an important aquaculture fish, but is undergoing a dramatically declining in production caused by infectious diseases. We leveraged the whole genome re-sequencing data from 505 C. semilaevis individuals to comprehensively decipher the genetic architecture of the disease resistance.
