POLLEN ANALYSIS OF A SINGLE SAMPLE FROM AN HISTORIC ROASTING PIT AT LOS MUERTOS (AZ U:9:56(ASM)

A single pollen sample was collected from the base of a roasting pit, which was thought to be prehistoric at the time of excavation. The Hemenway Expedition field camp was noted to be located in the general vicinity of this site. Severe historic and modern disturbances were also noted to this area, including agricultural cultivation and plowing since the late 1800s.
