Ichthyology Research at Jubany Base, Antarctica

The project encompasses several aspects of fish ecology. The topics of ecology that are investigated include: population evaluation, changes of abundance, parameters of populational dynamics, predator-prey relationships (bird-fish and pinniped-fish), and systematics of Antarctic fish living in the area surrounding South Georgia Island, the South Shetland Islands, and the Orcadas.
