MicroRNAs(miRNAs) analysis of Lasiodiplodia theobromae cultured on PDB medium and PDB-matcha mixed medium during different periods

Lasiodiplodia theobromae is a pathogen that causes leaf spot on tea plant (Camellia sinensis), and causes decline in both the quality and production of tea leaves. Tea leaf spot caused by L. theobromae was firstly found in Huishui county, Guizhou Province, China. By analysis the miRNA sequencing coupled with bioinformatics between L. theobromae cultured on PDB medium and PDB-matcha mixed medium during different cultured periods can help us understand the pathogenesis mechanism of L. theobromae and infer biological processes based on function. The knowledge can be accumulated about the principles of miRNAs and target recognition and provide a new methodologies for prediction of miRNA and their target genes.
