First Solar is the global leader in the production of thin film solar panels and has a U.S. manufacturing capacity of some 2.4 gigawatts.The total manufacturing capacity of solar modules in the United States stood at nine gigawatts in 2022 and is expected to reach 60 gigawatts by 2026.
