Synchrotron Data of Hu_12589-Oct-2017 (M12589)_Au in deep sea vents

This dataset is generated from Research + Postdoc project on biogenic haloes of sea-floor ore forming processes, mapping the spatial distribution of Au and other trace metals in modern “black smoker” sea-floor hydrothermal vents and investigate their likely association with organic matter. Establishing the association between trace metals and organic matter will provide new insights into the role that microbes play during the deposition of trace metals and the formation of chimneys.
