Detroit Slow Streets

<p>A slow street is a residential street with some form of traffic calming, such as speed cushions and signage to help you access key destinations such as parks and schools within your neighborhood. The goal is to create a low-stress, safe network of streets for walking, biking, scootering, etc. to explore Detroit's neighborhoods.</p><p>Slow Streets have the ability to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety, as they allow for non-motorized users to share the roadway space with vehicles traveling at low speeds.
