Exploring the mechanism of thapsigargin inhibiting TGEV replication in porcine intestinal organoids based on RNA-seq

Thapsigargin (TG), an ER stress inducer, exhibits a broad-spectrum anti-CoV effect in previous research. Here, we find that TG inhibits the replication of transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV) on 2D porcine intestinal organoids. Transcriptome analyses reveal that TG improved the expression of the ER-associated protein degradation (ERAD) component.
