The solubility of methane in Louisiana Sweet Crude oil (LSC) was determined at 20 °C at varying pressures between 3 and 16 MPa. The gas saturation was determined gravimetrically, using a microbalance for detecting the gas uptake of the liquid phase at given pressure and temperature until equilibrium was reached.
