BELUGA TIR radiation profile measurements at MOSAiC and Ny-Alesund

A total of 70 profile measurements of thermal-infrared (TIR) radiation were obtained with the Broadband Radiation Package (BP) during balloon ascents with the Balloon-bornE moduLar Utility for profilinG the lower Atmosphere (BELUGA). The dataset includes measurements from three balloon campaigns: between 29 June-27 July 2020 at the Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC) expedition; between 24 September-12 November 2021 in Ny-Ålesund (Svalbard); and between 24 March-12 May 2022 in Ny-Ålesund (Svalbard).

The dataset includes downward irradiance (Fd), upward irradiance (Fu), and net irradiance (Fnet = Fd - Fu) gridded to a 1 m vertical axis.
