Data underlying the research of Textural Variability Using the ZEISS Arivis Cloud Tool - Sosa Dyke, Neuquén

Digital Appendix. To determine the potential of object-based image analysis on petrographic thin sections, were scanned using a ZEISS Axsioscan 7. The scanning profile is included (.czspf). The output of these scans are in the 'samples' folder as .tif files. For each different annotation method, the resultsing files are located in the 'arivis' folder. These include segmented images (.ome) and a dataset (.csv). Visualizations (.png) were made using python (.ipynb) were visualized (.png) and data is in excel (.xslx) files.

数字附录。为探究基于目标的图像分析（object-based image analysis）在岩石薄片（petrographic thin sections）分析中的应用潜力，本数据集采用蔡司（ZEISS）Axsioscan 7扫描仪完成扫描作业。扫描参数配置文件（.czspf）已随本附录提供。扫描生成的输出文件以TIFF（.tif）格式存储于"samples"文件夹内。针对每一种不同的标注方法，其对应的结果文件均存放于"arivis"文件夹中，该文件夹内含分割图像（.ome）与数据集文件（.csv）。可视化结果（.png）通过Python的Jupyter Notebook（.ipynb）脚本生成，原始实验数据则存储于Excel（.xlsx）格式文件中。
