The datasets were collected using a Raspberry Pi-based mobile sensing unit designed for environmental and logistics route monitoring. The hardware setup was installed on a moving vehicle and operated as an autonomous data collection node during the selected routes.The sensing unit included a BME680 environmental sensor, used to collect temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure and gas resistance measurements. These values provide information about the surrounding environmental conditions during the route. In addition, the setup included a flame detection sensor for identifying the possible presence of fire-related events and a water presence sensor for detecting the existence of water in the monitored environment. For positioning and movement tracking, the system used a GPS receiver, which provided latitude, longitude, altitude and speed-related information. Mobile data connectivity was supported through a SIM7600E HAT equipped with a SIM card, allowing the Raspberry Pi to transmit or manage data through a cellular network connection. All sensors and communication modules were connected to and managed by the Raspberry Pi, which acted as the central processing and data logging unit. The collected measurements were stored in CSV format and include environmental values, GPS-based telemetry, sensor event indicators and vehicle identification information. Temporary missing values, such as “No Signal” or “Unknown”, may appear in the datasets due to GPS signal loss, connectivity limitations or temporary sensor communication issues during the route.
