资源简介:
Skeletal muscle mass and myofiber types undergo alterations in various conditions such as changes in gravity, aging, exercises, stresses, and diseases. During spaceflight, the soleus (SOL) muscle experiences both muscle atrophy and slow-to-fast myofiber type transition. However, the specific gravitational thresholds that inhibit both muscle atrophy and slow-to-fast myofiber type transition in the SOL muscle remain unclear. This study investigates the impact of different gravitational conditions (microgravity (õg), 1/3 g, 2/3 g, and 1 g) on the SOL muscle in mice during spaceflight. This study has a potential to establish the biological response base against gravity changes in the space for exploration and migration in other planet in the future.
