The survey, applied to 38 industrial engineering students, measured perceptions of generative AI across ten items on a 5-point Likert scale. The results show that most students frequently use AI tools and find them easy to integrate into their study routines. The strongest contributions were reported in knowledge creation and application, where more than half of the respondents agreed or strongly agreed that AI helps generate ideas and solve academic tasks. Similarly, students highlighted efficiency gains, better decision-making, and strong digital literacy levels, while also recognizing the importance of ethical responsibility in preventing plagiarism, bias, or misinformation. Overall, the data suggest that AI is perceived as a valuable complement to academic practices, though adoption is still uneven among the student body.
