The dataset contains experimental data from X-ray Diffraction (XRD), X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Infrared Thermography (IR) for the transient chiral phase of 1,1'-binaphthyl. It also includes the Crystallographic Information File (CIF) of the transient chiral phase. The XRD files can be read using the Malvern Panalytical Data Viewer software; the files are saved in .xrdml format. The XRF files are saved in .xy format, which can be read by using MS Excel or Origin software. The DSC files are saved in .txt format, which can be read using Notepad, but they require Origin or MS Excel to plot the data. The IR Camera recorded video files can be accessed using a media player (VLC). CIF file can be accessed by using the software Mercury
