Protection of migratory species habitat and restoration at Bayswater

The Green Army will undertake activities to address threats to aquatic environments and migratory species by protecting riparian and wetland vegetation from degradation and fragmentation. The project aims to protect and buffer native vegetation, build resilience and afford native vegetation the best chance to survive the effects of climate change. The project will increase the connectivity and improve the biodiversity of significant pockets of native vegetation collectively. Protection of these sites is paramount to the migratory species that frequent these areas.
