RNA-Seq of barley seed tissues during germination using Laser Capture Microdissection

In present study, we used Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) to isolate defined tissues including plumule, radicle, and scutellum in a contamination-free and precise manner during first 48 hours of barley seed germination and subjected to RNA-seq. The goal was to determine gene regulatory network in each of the main tissue types of the embryo in a tissue and time-specific manner during barley seed germination.
