This study was conducted to study the presence of food intolerance in a group of athletes using a commercial kit of reagents for the semi-quantitative ELISA determination of allergen-specific IgG antibodies in blood plasma. The study included blood plasma samples obtained from athletes provided by the State Research Center Burnasyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center of the Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia (https://fmbafmbc.ru/en/). The total sample consisted of 44 athletes. Only after the study participants signed an informed consent form, was blood plasma collected. This study was approved by the independent local research ethics committee of the State Research Center Burnasyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center of the Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia (Protocol No. 40 of 18 November 2020).
