WGS and 16S rRNA sequences of soils impacted by chronic oil contamination in brazilian onshore fields

In this study, we conducted Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) and 16S amplicon sequencing (Illumina) in brazilian soil samples. The soil samples were collected from onshore oil production fields in northeastern Brazil, specifically from Alagoas and Rio Grande do Norte. These areas are characterized by chronic contamination with hydrocarbons and produced water.
