A Superfluid False Vacuum / de Sitter Brane (SFV/dSB) Model for the Origin ofQuintessence and Matter
收藏资源简介:
The fundamental nature of dark energy and dark matter, along with the origin of the observed matter density, remain profound puzzles in cosmology. We propose a new theoretical framework, the Superfluid False Vacuum / de Sitter Brane (SFV/dSB) model, in which our universe is a 3-brane that nucleated from a higher-dimensional Superfluid False Vacuum (SFV). In this model, the phase transition creates a Quintessence field (Q) on the brane which drives cosmic acceleration. We argue that the superfluid nature of the SFV provides a physical origin for the observed matter density. The weak coupling inherent to a superfluid predicts an extremely inefficient reheating process, which we confirm via simulation naturally results in the small, observed matter-to-dark-energy ratio. The files herein were used for methodology, fine-tuning, and plotting of the article to be submitted
