Sluice and pumping station monitoring on the coast of Lower Saxony – Wangersiel

Discharge data at the sluice Wangersiel. Wangersiel runs the inland drainage system of an area about 256 square kilometers near city of Horumersiel. To model future impacts of climate change and create adaptation strategies of the drainage system, discharge data from the drainage Areas are crucial to calibrate and validate hydrological models. This Dataset can be used as a basis for hydrological modeling in the coastal Areas of lower saxony.
