This study aims to understand the role of N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase AmiB during biofilm formation, motility, and host colonization in Vibrio fischeri. A transposon mutant (C10) was characterized and gave rise to four motile suppressor strains (S1-S4). Here, we performed whole genome sequencing to identify the genetic nature of the suppressors using Illumina sequencing.
