Spatial transcriptional profiling of the forebrain in Pdyn ko mice strain

The aim of this study was a preliminary investigation into the effects of intragenic deletion of prodynorphin (Pdyn tm1Zim, C57Bl 6N) on gene expression in coronal sections of the mouse brain. Male mice, 5 weeks of age, first underwent behavioral assessment using the social conditioned place preference (sCPP) test. At 8-11 weeks of age, animals were sacrificed, and brains were isolated for spatial transcriptomics analysis. Samples were preserved at -80 C for long-term storage.
