To determine by RNA-Seq global transcriptomic changes resulting from siRNA knockdown of splicing regulators TRA2A, TRA2B, or both TRA2A and TRA2B, in the castrate resistant prostate cancer cell line CWR22Rv1. Overall design: CWR22Rv1 cells were transfected with 25 nM siRNA targeting either TRA2A (siTRA2A), TRA2B (siTRA2B), both TRA2A and TRA2B (siTRA2A/TRA2B) or a scrambled/non-targeting siRNA (siScr). 72 hours later, total RNA was extracted and sent for paired-end RNA-Seq.
