This repository includes supplementary information for the article "Sub-flash dynamics of Geostationary Lightning Mapper groups". Contents: raw data files used to produce the results (RAW_DATA.tar) Each Lightning Mapping Array (LMA) file in OKLMA.tar is a text file. Each Earth Networks Total Lightning Network (ENTLN) file in ENTLN.tar is a csv file. Each Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) file in GOES16_GLM.tar is a netcdf file. code used in our analysis (PYTHON_CODE.tar) defined functions (*.py) implementation examples (*.ipynb) example data files (example_data*) selection bounds for each lightning flash used in our analysis (flash_bounds*.csv) processed data output (PROCESSED_DATA_10ms_matched.tar) Oklahoma LMA data is available from the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory website: https://data.nssl.noaa.gov/thredds/catalog/WRDD/OKLMA/catalog.html. Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) data can be accessed through several links found at https://goes-r.nsstc.nasa.gov/home/. We thank Dr. Jeff Lapierre and Earth Networks for free use of ENTLN data for scientific purposes.
