Therapeutic areas for approved biopharmaceutical NDA in China 2023

In 2023, the Chinese Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved 132 New Drug Applications (NDA) for biopharmaceuticals. more than 32 percent of all approvals were granted to antineoplastic drugs, while biopharmaceuticals for the treatment of blood system and endocrine system diseases were also prevalent among the approvals.
