Grimm INTECOL Plenary Presentation

The world is urbanizing while it undergoes dramatic environmental change, especially climate change. These two drivers are on a collision course that will exaccerbate challenges for cities. At the global and local scales, new solutions will have to be found to build resilience in the cities of tomorrow. This assertion is explored through the lens of urban water systems: supply and delivery at the global scale, and stormwater management at the local scale.
