PREMOVE_HELMET

This dataset accompanies a smart helmet system developed for the precise tracking of pedestrians, cyclists, and other urban road users. The helmet features a smartphone mounted at the rear and a GPS module attached to the side, enabling the use of differential corrections to achieve high-accuracy geolocation. The mechanical structure is designed to be modular, stable, and compatible with commercial helmets.

The dataset includes all necessary 3D design files for reproducing the physical system: printable STL files for fabrication, STEP files for viewing and integration, and editable SolidWorks files for modification or customization. These files define the four 3D-printed components that make up the helmet-mounted system. In addition to the geometry, a complete bill of materials (BOM) and an illustrated step-by-step assembly guide are also provided to facilitate reproducibility and adaptation.

This open-access resource enables researchers, developers, and practitioners to replicate, modify, or extend the system for applications such as urban mobility tracking, localization benchmarking, and wearable sensing platforms.
