Parvularcula oceani strain:JLT2013 Genome sequencing

Parvularcula oceani JLT2013T is a novel member of the genus Parvularcula within the order 'Parvularculales'. This strain is a Gram-negative, aerobic, motile by a single polar flagellum, short rod-shaped, which was isolated from a deep-sea water of Southeastern Pacific. We present here the genome sequence of Parvularcula oceani JLT2013T, which contains genes for encoding proteorhodopsin protein, ?agella synthesis and cobalt-zinc-cadmium resistance. The genome comprised 3,013,062 bp with a G+C content of 67.88%, which included 3,135 protein-coding genes and 44 RNA genes.
