资源简介:
his survey is carried out on the basis of the research collaboration in "The International Social Survey Programme" (ISSP). ISSP is an international organisation that prepares and coordinates annual surveys in its member countries, mainly within the fields of political science and sociology. The topic of the surveys varies, but are repeated at intervals of a few years. In this way, changes in behavioral patterns and attitudes over time as well as differences between countries and cultures, are possible to be detected and measured. The Norwegian Social Science Data Services (NSD) became a member of ISSP in 1989 and have since been responsible for carrying out the surveys in Norway. In connection to the survey, researchers are invited to add supplementary questions to the Norwegian respondents. I 2002, the objective was to collect data on views of gender roles in the family and at work, family structure, marriage and divorce, attitudes toward children, attitudes towards women and gender equality, division of domestic work, family-related and work-related stress, distribution and spending of family income, the working activity of spouses in different stages in their family situation, childcare and maternity leave. NSD and ISSP conducted a similar survey in 1994. The Norwegian additional part was in 2002 developed in collaboration with Oddbjørn Evenshaug, Dag Hallen and Finn Hjardemaal, Institute for Educational Research, University of Oslo and Kjersti Melberg, International Research Institute of Stavanger. Questions in the Norwegian part concern (among other subjects) the relationship between children and grandparentd, satisfaction and social support in marriage/cohabitation, and distribution of domestic work within the family.
