A price survey conducted at supermarkets in Maebashi City revealed that the average price of 1 kg of lemons in December 2016 was 797 yen. The price of 1 kg of lemons in Maebashi City was 2 yen higher than the national average. During the period from January 2015 to December 2016 (the past 24 months), the highest price for lemons at supermarkets within Maebashi City was recorded in May 2016 at 898 yen, while the lowest price was in March 2015 at 693 yen. The price difference between the peak and trough periods for lemons in the Maebashi City area (May 2016 and March 2015) was 2 yen.
