List of selected samples of <i>Crocallis</i> and related genera <i>Scodiomima</i> and <i>Dzhugesia</i> with DNA barcodes involved in Bayesian analysis Zootaxa

A series of geometrid moths from the little-known genus <i>Dzhugesia</i> Wehrli, 1936 were collected in southern Iran (Kerman Province).<b> </b>Both morphological characters and DNA barcoding confirm that the examined specimens represent a new species, herein described as <i>D. alierfani</i><b> </b>Makhov et Kamyab<b> sp. nov.</b> Additional remarks on the diagnosis of the genus <i>Dzhugesia</i> are also provided. The relationships of <i>Dzhugesia </i>and closely related genera <i>Crocallis</i> Treitschke and <i>Scodiomima </i>Staudinger, 1892 are discussed. The erroneous species association of the sample whose DNA barcode was published in the BOLD Systems database is corrected. This is the first record of the genus <i>Dzhugesia</i> from Iran.
