Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation South of Thornham Road, Gislingham 2017

This collection comprises a report, photographs, a site plan, spreadsheets and site records from an archaeological evaluation of Land South of Thornham Road, Gislingham undertaken by Archaeology South-East between February and March 2017. Twenty-two evaluation trenches were excavated across the c.2.7ha site, with finds comprising negligible evidence for prehistoric and Roman period land use, a low density of Early/Middle Saxon pits and postholes, a low incidence of medieval remains and Post-medieval ditches.
