Molecular Identification and Biodiversity Assessment of Marine Animals from the South Atlantic

This project focuses on the molecular identification and comprehensive biodiversity assessment of marine animal species from the South Atlantic. Utilizing advanced genetic techniques, such as whole-genome sequencing and targeted molecular markers, the project aims to catalog the genetic diversity of various marine organisms, excluding microorganisms. While population studies will be conducted as a minor component, the primary objective is to generate a detailed inventory of species, contributing to a broader understanding of marine biodiversity in this region.
