RNA-seq data of Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron grown in fucose

A conserved genomic region from Parabacteroides johnsonii CL02T12C29 and Bacteroides salyersiae CL02T12C01 provides a fitness advantage in B. thetaiotaomicron when grown in a minimal medium with L-fucose as the sole carbon source. The fragment encodes a ssDNA-binding protein (SSB) and three hypothetical proteins. A RNA-seq experiment was carried out using B. thetaiotaomicron overexpressing this beneficial fragment and B. thetaiotaomicron with an empty vector as control.
