Whole genome sequencing of two female mice in B6;Cg-Oca2<p-cas>/1Nga (Pink) and B6;Cg-Oca2<p-cas>/2Nga (Black) sub-mixed strains

Oca2 is a new spontaneous mutant allele at the mouse pink-eyed dilution locus, and it occurred in Indonesian wild mice (Mus musculus castaneus). The B6;Cg-Oca2/1Nga (Pink) and B6;Cg-Oca2/2Nga (Black) sub-mixed strains have the same Oca2 gene on the genetic background of the C57BL/6JJcl inbred strain. The B6;Cg-Oca2/1Nga mouse has pink eyes and grey coat. The B6;Cg-Oca2/2Nga mouse has pink eyes and grey coat, but its eyes and coat become darker with age. Whole genome sequencing of the sub-mixed female mice was performed.
