On-line processing of temporal information (rest_spr)

The present self-paced reading studies used picture sentence-verification to investigate the on-line processing of temporal information.  The current study is a replication of a previous ERP experiment (Augurzky et al., 2020). In the current study, we did not obtain evidence for a relation between reading times and the truth evaluation process, suggesting differences in the sensitivity towards this process between different experimental methods. However, a post-hoc analysis of the reading time data revealed a general preference for domain constancy, which postulates that changes in the quantificational domain are dispreferred.
