CTD data from Northern Gulf of Mexico collected during R/V Pelican cruise PE15-28, 2015-07-24 - 2015-07-01

On-board CTD casts and expendable bathythermograph (XBT) measurements were taken in the Northern Gulf of Mexico from 2015-06-24 - 2015-07-01 aboard the R/V Pelican (PE15-28) while collecting visual and acoustic data. A Sea-Bird SBE 911 CTD with processing software was used to collect data, then convert from HEX to ASCII files and average 24 Hz data over 1 meter intervals. All raw and converted files are included. Site locations are as follows: North (28.65017°N/88.52767°W), North_2 (28.65133°N, 88.52300°W), South (28.41250°N/88.61800°W), Transit 1 (28. 66733°N/88.71883°W), Transit 2 (28.73183°N/88.91067°W), Transit 3 (28.77017°N/88.20100°W), Transit 4 (28.81900°N/88.51867°W), Transit 5 (28.55800°N/88.94683°W), Transit 6 (28.4083 N/88.5913°W), and West (28.39617°N/88.00167°W).2015年6月24日至2015年7月1日，研究团队在墨西哥湾北部执行"鹈鹕号"科考船（R/V Pelican）PE15-28航次，在采集视觉与声学数据的同步开展船载温盐深剖面仪（Conductivity Temperature Depth, CTD）走航观测与抛弃式温深计（expendable bathythermograph, XBT）测量。本数据集采用海鸟（Sea-Bird）SBE 911型温盐深剖面仪及配套处理软件完成数据采集，将原始十六进制（HEX）格式文件转换为ASCII格式文件，并对24Hz采样频率的原始数据按1米间隔进行平均化处理。所有原始文件与转换后文件均已包含在本数据集中。测站位置如下：北测站：28.65017°N/88.52767°W；北2测站：28.65133°N, 88.52300°W；南测站：28.41250°N/88.61800°W；过境测站1：28.66733°N/88.71883°W；过境测站2：28.73183°N/88.91067°W；过境测站3：28.77017°N/88.20100°W；过境测站4：28.81900°N/88.51867°W；过境测站5：28.55800°N/88.94683°W；过境测站6：28.4083°N/88.5913°W；西测站：28.39617°N/88.00167°W。
