Full cultured leaf and root endophyte community from Spartina alterniflora in a nitrogen fertilization experiment in the Plum Island Ecosystems LTER, MA

Fungal endophytes were cultured from root and leaf tissues of Spartina alterniflora collected at the Plum Island Ecosystems Long Term Ecological Research (PIE LTER) site. Samples were obtained from a field nitrogen addition experiment with treatments consisting of high, medium, and low additions of ammonium or nitrate, as well as ambient controls. Isolates were sequenced and taxonomic identities were assigned using the NCBI Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST). All fungal sequences have been deposited in GenBank.本研究从采集自普拉姆岛生态系统长期生态学研究（Plum Island Ecosystems Long Term Ecological Research, PIE LTER）站点的互花米草（Spartina alterniflora）根、叶组织中分离培养得到真菌内生菌（Fungal endophytes）。样本取自野外氮添加实验，实验设置了高、中、低浓度铵态氮或硝态氮添加处理，同时设置环境空白对照。对分离得到的菌株进行测序，并利用美国国家生物技术信息中心（National Center for Biotechnology Information, NCBI）的基础局部比对搜索工具（BLAST）完成物种分类学鉴定。所有真菌序列均已提交至GenBank数据库。
