Survey Dataset on ICT-Based Food Production and Management Security in Bangladesh

This dataset contains survey responses collected from 400 participants across Dhaka (20.3%), Chottogram (14%), Khulna (28.3%), and Sylhet (37.5%) districts of Bangladesh during July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024. The survey evaluates perceptions of food production and distribution, digital marketplaces, and mobile payment systems. Additionally, it records participants’ views on the security of ICT-based food management systems. Responses were recorded using a 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree, 2 = Disagree, 3 = Neutral, 4 = Agree, 5 = Strongly Agree) for most questions. The target variable (FS) indicates whether respondents perceive ICT-based food secure management as secure (1) or insecure (0). This dataset can support research in food security, digital agriculture, and ICT adoption in both rural and urban communities.
