Images from an Archaeological Evaluation at Newbold Farm, Main Street, Newbold, Warwickshire, April 2010

This collection consists of images from an archaeological evaluation by University of Leicester Archaeological Services. Work occurred at Newbold Farm, Newbold, Warwickshire in April 2010. Evidence of significant medieval settlement was uncovered with pottery evidence dating from the Thirteenth to the Seventeenth Century. Undisturbed Romano British deposits were also uncovered as well as residual Romano British pottery within medieval features. Limited evidence of standing earthworks, both within the proposed development area and surrounding fields was also observed
