WATER TEMPERATURE and other data from USS CURTS from 1989-12-02 to 1989-12-21 (NODC Accession 9000010)

The data in this accession was collected from ship USS Curts between December 2, 1989 and December 21, 1989. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Coast Navy. These stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.本入库批次数据集采集自美国海军舰艇柯尔茨号（USS Curts），采集时段为1989年12月2日至1989年12月21日。美国海岸海军通过条带记录仪，将投弃式温深仪（Expendable Bathythermograph，XBT）测得的不同深度海水温度实时数据记录于条带记录图中。上述条带记录图与无线电通信日志已提交至国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center，NODC）。从这些条带记录图中提取的XBT数据已完成数字化处理，目前以C116文件格式存储于NODC当前的数据存储系统内。
