LATIS IGM Tomography Maps

This package contains the IGM tomography maps produced by the Lyman-alpha Tomography IMACS Survey (LATIS) and presented by Newman et al (2025), "LATIS: A Sample of IGM-Selected Protoclusters and Protogroups at z ~ 2.5". The maps are distributed in multi-extension FITS format. Each FITS file (one per survey field) comprises 5 extensions that contain delta_F / sigma_map (smoothed by a gaussian with sigma=4 cMpc/h), the 1 sigma uncertainty in delta_F / sigma_map, and the R.A., Dec., and redshift coordinates of the map voxels.
