Here we provide data on the activity concentration of Radon (222Rn) determined via Polonium-214 (214Po) activity, measured with the Heidelberg Radon Monitor at 80m on the ATTO Tall Tower. Temporal resolution is 30 min, with timestamp representing the end of the integration interval. 214Po is in radioactive equilibrium with 222Rn at a relative humidity (RH) <98% and under no precipitation events. During rainfall events there is a washout of 214Po and thus a radioactive disequilibrium, that takes about ~1-2 hours to disappear. We recommend to carefully filter out rain events together with a careful evaluation of the data at RH>98%.
